The very talented culinary team who initially came to the Permian Basin to serve as Horizon Mud Company's corporate chefs now have their very own operation cooking… Cookhouse Catering! Now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Horizon Mud, the Cookhouse team is branching out to extend their services to the rest of the Permian Basin community and beyond.

From rig BBQs in hard hats to black tie affairs in tuxes, these guys are ready to tackle your diverse catering needs. There is no event too big or too small. This team is experienced, flexible, and ready to tackle any challenge.

About Chef Daniel Jimenez 

Chef Daniel Jimenez came here as a professional chef after traveling the world. He was brought up in the restaurant business, and has more than 20 years of experience in the culinary industry. His family owns Old Heidelberg German Restaurant in San Antonio. He was previously a sous chef at P.F. Chang’s, Kona Grill, and various hotels in San Antonio. He was executive chef at Sonterra Country Club and Macaroni Grill.

With so much experience with a wide range of cuisines, Chef Daniel is able to cater many types of food like Mexican, American, BBQ, Chinese, Cajun, Italian, German, and more! He’ll cook up something delicious for every taste. From wedding catering to oilfield catering, we can cook something for just about anyone.
